VNBM – Arte Contemporânea, Viseu
Na tessitura pura do universo líquido, onde a dança rítmica das moléculas se revela num movimento invisível, imaginamos a pele da água. Sob a luz transitória que se reflete na sua superfície, surge um quadro de excelência, uma cobertura translúcida que alimenta os contornos do ambiente líquido.
A pele da água, esculpida pelo tempo, manifesta-se como interface entre duas esferas: o etéreo e o aquático. Como uma pintura abstrata, é ao mesmo tempo efémera e resiliente, recolhendo os raios solares com a suavidade de uma extrema coreografia. Nesse transparente tecido, os raios de luz entrecruzam-se, criando uma aparência cromática inquieta, um espetáculo de cor que transcende a mera realidade física.
Na sua essência, a pele da água, é uma narrativa visual que ecoa as coisas do mundo. Cada curva, um capítulo; cada reflexo, uma insistência magnética. Nas bordas do desconhecido, essa película líquida revela-se como um palimpsesto onde o passado e o presente coexistem, desenhando um arco temporal que se estende desde a princípio do tempo até o instante presente e fugaz.
A pele da água, com sua fragilidade aparente, é, na verdade, a sombra de segredos remotos, o espelho que reflete a essência intangível da existência. Basta observar a pele da água para nos levar a pensar em assuntos profundamente evocativos, que desafiam a nossa perceção da natureza e do mundo (que maltratamos) à nossa volta.
Portanto, reflitamos com reverência esse véu líquido e instável que encerra na sua tessitura a substância universal da qual todos fazemos parte.

In the pure essence of the liquid universe, where the rhythmic dance of molecules is revealed in an invisible movement, we imagine the skin of water. Under the transitory light that reflects on its surface, a picture of excellence emerges, a translucent covering that feeds the contours of the liquid environment.
The skin of the water, sculpted by time, manifests itself as an interface between two spheres: the ethereal and the aquatic. Like an abstract painting, it is both ephemeral and resilient, collecting the sun's rays with the softness of extreme choreography. In this transparent fabric, the rays of light intersect, creating a restless chromatic appearance, a spectacle of color that transcends mere physical reality.
In essence, the skin of water is a visual narrative that echoes the things of the world. Each curve, a chapter; each reflection, a magnetic insistence. At the edges of the unknown, this liquid film reveals itself as a palimpsest where past and present coexist, drawing a temporal arc that stretches from the beginning of time to the present, fleeting instant.
The skin of water, with its apparent fragility, is actually the shadow of remote secrets, the mirror that reflects the intangible essence of existence. Just looking at the skin of water can lead us to think about deeply evocative subjects that challenge our perception of nature and the world (which we mistreat) around us.
So let us reflect with reverence on this liquid and unstable veil that contains in its fabric the universal substance of which we are all a part.
